Canton Karat 200's. $10 with stands. Then sanded and Watco natural Danish oil, on another thread
That's just not fair. Where did you find them?
I wish my Imperial Six's looked that good! Of course mine were only $2.25...
The veneer was pretty dried out but like always, Feed N Wax brought the finish back to looking new. The bottoms are pretty scratched but who cares? The CL ad had them listed for $60 but I politely asked if the lady would take $45 and she said yes. She had owned them for a long time and did not want them to get damaged by her toddlers so she sold them to save them so to speak. I drive them with a 2220B and am head over heels in love with them. Imp 6s for $2.25 is the buy of the century if they sounded good.
Well, mine have some problems. All I did to them so far is replace the mismatched tweeters with the correct phenolic cones and recapped the crossovers. They look like they've been scraped and stained by everything imaginable, but they sound so good. I don't care since I'm usually the only one who sees them!
Wharfedale Mach 3 ($10)
Realistic Nova 10 ($10)
Realistic Nova 8b ($20)
DCM Time Frames 700 ($40)
NICE! I am always on the hunt for any Novas. I have a set of 7s and a set of 6s.
