Some decent albums at GW for once.
Nice! Been looking for that Transformer.

Found this QSC 1700 power amp priced at $5 bucks but I only paid $2.50 since it was half price weekend at the thrift store.
For some reason they thought it was an air conditioner :dunno::rockon:
Oh yeah, this beast sounds amazing! Detailed and crispy and powerful hooked up to my KLH 317's

Where about is this goodwill?

Some nice stuff there, furious. Good grab on the Last Poets.
Thanks, Bob - nothing compared to your hauls it seems like each and every day!!! I just try and snag stuff when I see an opportunity to expand my collection - nothing like throwing on the needle to some good tunes. I couldn't imagine how massive your collection must be!!! :yikes:

I keep what interests me but I sell much of it at the flea market. It helps the retirement budget plus it pays for all my music and gear (my wife likes this arrangement ).

Not GW or Thrift but a nice little grab from craigslist yesterday. Had 25 albums and a price of $5 in the title. I assumed he meant $5 each and asked how much for all of them. Responded with "$5". Tried to give him more but he didn't want it. 15 of them are still in shrink and all but 2 are VG+ or better with most being NM.

Wow! What a deal! Check those for first pressings. A lot of the early pressed classic rock LPs are climbing in price. I love all that shrink wrap. It makes my record collecting heart flutter. :music:

Holy crap! That's a score right there!!

I will pay you twice that amount for all of them + shipping.

Stopped by the Goodwill Outlet on the way to a project. They were blowing out bins of CD and DVDs. Several people had full carts. I missed that.

On the way out I dug out some 1960, 1970 motorcycle keys for 50 cents. Some had funny etched names like ‘Hardly Davidson’, and ‘Pig F@&&er’ on the old Harley keys. I was surprised that there is a trade for old cut keys on EBay.

That is why I love the GW outlet, always freaky finds. Something to amuse until the next BIG score. Haha.

Why is it my local GW has lots of CD cases, and none have CDs inside them? Sticky Fingers?

My theory is a lot of people put their CDs in those multiple storage folders and put the inserts and jewel cases in a box to be stored. Years later, the kid moves out, the parents drag all the stuff they left behind and donate the box of empty cases. The reason I say this is because I go to GW Buy the Pound and I find the folders filled with CDs and tons of empty cases.

I did see one guy removing the CDs and DVDs from their cases at Buy the Pound and throwing the empty packaging back into the cart. I asked him why he was doing that and he said he paid less at the checkout if he just took the discs. :wtf:
