BIC T-3 record level issues.

Too many notes!!!
I have Pb. levels, Eq. and phase set to my satisfaction. The next thing is to set rec. cal. levels with the VRs in the back, next to the RCAs. Did that.

Now, I'm splitting a mono source from a signal generator and supplying each input with a 1K. tone and, using the big dial on the front of the deck, bumping up the levels to a one volt reading a mv. meter.

The trouble is, if the left channel is at one volt, the right channel is sitting at +1 1/3rd. Every other deck I've ever seen has an adjustment for source levels, patched into the input jacks. But, I'll be danged if I can find them on this deck.

And, I'm reffering to the SM on HiFi Engine's site.

I am not all that familiar with a BIC yet, but, I'm getting into it.

Anyone here, know how to do that? I'm just starting to record with it and, well, it's not like setting up a reel to reel, I'll say.

Help!

BTW; I've recorded a few LP tracks, with the levels as they are, and at 3 3/4 ips, this thing rivals some of the reel machines I have. For a cassette, this deck sounds fantastic. I'm glad I have one.
