After a recent Star purchase from a fellow AK'er I had to bust out their debut album. This is a reissue on Ardent Records (that is sonically solid). Man I forgot how great and influential this band is. I have to keep reminding myself that this album was released 72', a bit of folk, a bit of Memphis, a bunch of lyrical awesomeness!

After so many AKer's waxing poetic on Big Star a band I never heard I bought Radio City. I liked it. Good vibe and energy on this album.

Lot of talent in that young band. 13 is such a sweet ballad.

"#1 Record" is a must. "Feel" and "Ballad of El Goodo" is one of my favorite 1-2 punches on an album side. Great melodies and lyrics across the board.
