It's starting to look like "Duck Dynasty" here :D

My best non-SLR attempt at a Woody.

I don't have too many birds, but here's a Robin I rescued from a cat. I put him on a branch in a bush. Soon he was off.

Good of you Dan! And a nice shot of the intended victim, looks like he wants to say thank you for saving me from the clutches of that kitty cat.

Thanks Chillwolf. To finish the story, the cat was a feral cat that we ended up adopting, after he got hit by a car. He recovered and now he's been converted to a house cat.

Nice RSH addylo !!
I'm not sure if it's common or not , but the hawks in my area are routinely harassed by smaller birds. Mainly jays "dive-bombing" and the odd airborne chase.

Here's a snap of a RSH taking a break from one of those skirmishes....

Wrong Kind of Bird Feeder

I ran across this thread a while ago - not sure how -but decided I had to post the attached. I live in SE Virginia. I have a storm pond / marshy area in the back yard. We get Osprey, Egrets, Vultures, Hawks, and once a young Bald Eagle - I thought we we're doing pretty good. Recently visited my folks back in Michigan. They had these in the FRONT YARD! Sandhill Cranes = Fearless.
