I am a newbie in the audio vintage scene.
After debating for several weeks on what audio amplifier to buy, and after reading through this forum, i finally decided to go vintage: i purchased a yamaha m-65 amplifier, yamaha c-65 preamp, and the tuner (yamaha tx-500u) was given to me free of charge by the seller. All is very clean, looks like new. Surprising how a 30 years old equipment can look as if it was new.
Here is my setup: hackintosh computer (using audirvana or fidelia for mac), smsl m-3 dac, c-65 preamp, m-65 amplifier, speakers (micca mb42x-c in a stereo set-up). So far all is good. I am totally satisfied.

J'ai oublié presque tout mon Francais, and I don't know how to find a cedille on my keyboard - anyway: Welcome here! :)

Welcome, M. to AK.

Glad you are surprized at the vint working so well, esp with your "Hackintosh gear, eh? You'll have to now, amass a collection of LP's to go with the rest of your vint equipment.
