Bookshelf Speakers vs. Floorstanding Speakers

Just a quick note to continue to sing praise for the Def Tech D11's. While certainly more neutral sounding than my previous Dentons, the imaging, sound stage, clarity, smooth treble are just superb. I really think these speakers deserve more exposure. No one I have spoken with had ever heard of them and most noted that they thought of Def Tech as home theater..not audiophile. While I am nowhere near as experienced or knowledgeable as many on this forum, I DO know the difference between Best Buy bloated-bass gamer cubes and hi-fi/audiophile sound quality speakers. If a bookshelf speaker priced at $1,000 pair can sound better than these, I would sure love to hear them! My biggest surprise is how easy on the ear they are. Despite being quite detailed, there is zero fatigue...the highs are almost as polite in sound as the Dentons. The overall sound, again, leans more towards concise vs. warm which is the main difference between the two. I loved my Dentons...but I prefer the D11's.
