Hi there.

You can see what I'm listening to through this here.

What you're looking at (from left to right)

The CD player is a Rotel RCD-991ae.
APC H-15 power conditioner.
The amplification is a Shanling A3000 dual mono beast
Well Tempered Record Player mounted with an Audio Technica ATOC9MLii hooked up to a slightly modified Jolida JD9 phono amp.
It's all hooked up between a pair of Vienna Acoustic Mozart Grand speakers.

I've got RCA cables from Siltech and Bogdan, AC cords from Signal and AQ, speaker cables are Audioquest Midnight 2 with WBT spades.

Oh, and my headphones are Grado 325 (non-"i"s)

This is Rosie (He's a boy) He was stoned on catnip and we were listening to Coltrane's "Meditations" LP when I was taking his picture.

In this shot, you get a good view of the bass traps in the corners and the acoustic panels low across the baseboards (Regardless of common advice, this placement really helped tighten up the imaging)

I took this one a while back with the "Retro Camera" app on my Driod phone:

I covered the bright LEDs on the power unit with electrical tape to make it easier on my eyes.

Rear view:
In the foreground is the left speaker terminal. The short white RCA with green ends are the preamp jumpers. And a bit low you can see the RCA to balanced adapters I have to run my phono through to avoid the Shanling's internal tube buffer stage.

That integrated is a beast. What was that about separates? I can't hear you over this wonderful integrated... :D

Great setup and cool pics man! Love that retro camera on droid, one of my favorite apps. And man Rosie looks like a big Kitty, mine is tiny and Hell on high red wheels without catnip, to the point I don't dare letting her get off on the 'nip... :D

Thanks for the kind words, everyone.

Sweet setup! what are you using to hold your records?

wow, i bet that sounds great, did you make the record boxes? they make a great stand.

My father made the LP crates several years ago to measurements I gave him. I determined how many LPs each would hold by figuring how much weight I could carry up a flight of stairs (give or take a couple decades of aging). I didn't know at the time that I would use them for stands, but at 22" wide, they fit equipment really well

They are sitting on a single plank that i cut from the top of an old schoolteacher's desk. I put spiked feet under it which I think is overkill, but I just haven't gotten around to making more normal ones out of wood.

What I particularly like about this thread is the abundance of detailed pictures. It's great for those of us who like to ogle and live vicariously. :D

(Great gear and room although that should go without saying.)
