My CD Changer is sick!

I need your help: my CD changer is getting picky about reading CD's:

it reads CD's, but thso sound is VERY distorted, Could this be cleaning? or is it something worse?

Please give me a hand

Pull the plug and then the cover and look for the laser lens and get after it with some isopropral and clean it off. If the laser is not dirty it could be out of allignment. Now is the time to think about how much you like your player.
Just kidding, alligninging shouldn't be hard or expensive. Both could be said about buying a SACD too.
