But..,will it still work?

After all these years[1968/1969] will it still work? It has never been powered up since manufactured. That is what caught my attention. I know alot of decks sit for long periods of time, but 35 years? It would be of interest to see what happens the first time it is plugged in. And I guess the only way to see that is to bid and win it!

She will need oiling for sure and a good cleaning of the linkage.and a re lube. Iam looking at it to if it dont go to high its a good deal.

You never know until the power is on, but my guess 2 belts and a good tune-up and peek inside would be a good idea.:cool:
Ask the seller if the Teac metal-reel is in the box.
When new it came with a couple of fuses, spare pinch-roller, cleaning pad and extra reel-holders included.
