I have just gotten hold of a BA-2000/CA-2000 combination. Both have problems. I finally got the BA-2000 fixed...it had several open resistors (1/4w and 1/2w) in the power supply circuits (as well as a bad cap; 60 Hz. hum).
The CA-2000 seems to have a problem with the "AUX" inputs. They are not giving any decent volume out of the preamp....the tape inputs work OK and I don't have a turntable for a phono test. Any ideas what the problem could be? I noticed that there are a couple of resistors in the power supply that look like they ran hot. It is impossible to read the color codes on them, but they might have something to do with the problem. Anyone have experience with this?
I sure could use a schematic if anyone has one.
