I am sulking too my friend since I am not able to enjoy them.... but there is hopin'
Looks like a Nakamichi LX-5 in the mix? I have mine in my refurbishment queue, after my 1020.
Yes sire indeed an LX 5....
I have another as well 580 m but it needs a good service and locally is a bit difficult here in SA....
My LX-5 project will be much later this year. I have quite a few excellent cassettes with recorded content. Much of that is from my vinyl period. Sadly, I sold my Yamaha Yp-B4 & all of my vinyl when I moved to Asis in 19995. Now, I recognize that all as being irreplaceable.
Really nice room and amenities..Rott
Thanks Eagle Keeper!
Bob I know what you mean... I suppose we have all sold Grt stuff with remorse at some point ..
My vinyl library & my turntable are the only ones on my regret list.
We gave away my dads rogers and pioneer valve amps with Gerard 301 to make space for the latest Philips music centre (with CD player ) ... at the time we must have thought what an upgrade .....
Got one of these recently too.
Very nice! I'm wondering if someday I go with seperates? Well, integrateds for now
Yes indeed. Never expected to find one of these within my budget. It's still untouched inside and the optics aren't perfect but it's well worth what I got it for and some!
and after a full clean-up and recap and leds....
It sounds really really good now.
and my CA-810, all original for now, lamps are out, but it is working quite well. Quite an impressive amp !
It will in time get the same treatment as the CR-820
Here with my YP-211
Optics more than meet my standard and I am sure that once it receives the Vint Age touch, the insides will be outstanding.
More pix plz!
These are my only Yamaha audio pieces at this point, small compared to the great pieces I see here but they are Yammi's.
Using them together and happy!
FM receiver pulls those statons in very well.
Sorry, a Scott is in the background...
Thanks. I plan on doing a full restore on it even though it's working perfectly right now.
This dirty thing came with it.
Can't wait to see the progress....and you know you'll need a new board for those new cans for this dirty thing
it looks like someone left it outside in the snow with the cover off
nice job bringing it back to its prime!
