An extra-rare Yamaha power amp with V-FETs from the Golden era of Japanese audio: B-3. I think I'll stop for a good period of time in spending money on amplifiers.
    This one is a revelation!

had to move things around and pulled another B-1 out of the box. The B-1s may as well be carved out of stone, that's how heavy they are. Moveing a set of NS-1000Ms or a B-2 after, feels like feather-weight.....But, the B-1/C-1 sure look good in pairs so I had to stop for a photoshoot
did not have time to clean them so they are full of fingerprints

    Thanks! They sure are beauties.
With the exception of that silver B-1, all units are in excellent cosmetic condition and were all virgin as far as I could tell. That B-2 as well. Perfect candidates for rehab.
The other C-1 I am working on is also just as nice. I got them all clean at some point and they looked even better.

I only wish that Yamaha would release both a new "retro" styled mid-line and high end turntables... Even if its sub contracted out, but to Yamaha's Q/C levels.
