Welcome Kondi! That AS-2000 is very nice (of course the A-S3000 would be AWESOME).

Hey all long time lurker first time poster. Lot of really neat systems on here. Hope to learn more about the yamaha line as well as some history about the company. These are some of my systems. Pickings are very slim where I live so whenever something pops up I grab it up. So as you can tell I’m a Yamaha guy through and through. I’ll start another thread in regards to the M-60 as well as the CX-1000U. By the way if anyone can tell me what the remote goes for that would be a great help. I can’t find any info. I do plan on downloading all the manuals and schematics to all the components through HIFIENGINE as well through Yamaha as well. Also want to try and find copies of the magazine adds to some of these if they’re available. Thanks to all

Hihihi ... it was faster, than I thought :)

    New baby A-S3000 on-board
    • Now it's time for me for comparing A-S2000 vs. A-S3000 ... for sure this two are quite different :)
    • Of course it's too early to judge both in quality & price aspects.

Yes ... it was funny - when I put 1st post here I didn't know that I'll buy 3000 soon .... but offer that get was some kind of "silver bullet".

    BTW> I few question:
    • Do you have knowledge that Phono-Stage in A-S3000 is different than A-S2000 ?
    • looking for new turntable (perfect to find in good price GT2000?) i have doubt because in Europe is 230V vs in Japan 100V ... how to deal with this ?
    • what turntable & cassette deck you recommend ... when you compare cost vs. value ?

The CX service manual should have the remotes P/N. In the parts list .

I got a Technics TT for my birthday so I bought a CA-610II and a CT-610. I'm running Kenwood KL-3080 speakers. All sounds awesome. I then just located a YP-211 TT. Looking for higher end Yamaha speakers so I have a set. Total investment so far is $490.00 and I am sooo happy I got the Yamaha. I will be upgrading to a big amp as I get more into this.
