Hihihi ... it was faster, than I thought
New baby A-S3000 on-board
Now it's time for me for comparing A-S2000 vs. A-S3000 ... for sure this two are quite different
Of course it's too early to judge both in quality & price aspects.
^^^You didn't waste time - the A-S3000 is spectacular!
Yes ... it was funny - when I put 1st post here I didn't know that I'll buy 3000 soon .... but offer that get was some kind of "silver bullet".
BTW> I few question:
Do you have knowledge that Phono-Stage in A-S3000 is different than A-S2000 ?
looking for new turntable (perfect to find in good price GT2000?) i have doubt because in Europe is 230V vs in Japan 100V ... how to deal with this ?
what turntable & cassette deck you recommend ... when you compare cost vs. value ?
Step-down transformer...From 230 vac to 100vac ..
The CX service manual should have the remotes P/N. In the parts list .
I got a Technics TT for my birthday so I bought a CA-610II and a CT-610. I'm running Kenwood KL-3080 speakers. All sounds awesome. I then just located a YP-211 TT. Looking for higher end Yamaha speakers so I have a set. Total investment so far is $490.00 and I am sooo happy I got the Yamaha. I will be upgrading to a big amp as I get more into this.
M-2, YPC-1 & CDX-2020
On which speakers is the set playing?
Well, one day you'll have nice things...be patient and keep searching!
I have a bit of an electronics crush on the CDX-2020...it's a beautiful unit!
Agreed. I have one here. Sadly, I can't seem to get my ass in gear to finish the recap on the CX-1000 that was in the stack with it. CX was down, which turned out to only be a few bad caps, but I kept it out and ordered all the caps. Life got in the way of getting it done. Then there's the dead MX-2000 that I still haven't gotten fixed... Whose spot is coincidentally currently filled by an M-2.
Hmm, seems like you've got your work cut out for you! Yes, life gets in the way big time!
Currently in the stable:
Yamaha NS 1000 ...2 pairs
Yamaha NS 690 MK I
Yamaha NS 500
Yamaha NS 675
Yamaha NS 625 ...2 pairs
That's for sure. I want this set for years.
