The decks you may want to check out for your stack are the K-1000 and the K-2000 (pictured).

I agree, I would leave space on top of the amps to let them breathe.
Maybe take out the eq and move everything up one space from on top of the amps?
That would look nice and balanced.

I added carpet spikes last night and drums went from "nice and punchy" to full on artillery fire. I can't believe I hadn't tried this tweak sooner. Once I get my hands on a YDS-8 record weight and some stainless or brushed aluminum feet then I'll have completed the "Vader" look.

I keep an AX-400u and 900u as backups. The 900u has the better phono but both have nice line in's.
