Sweet I have the S2000, S2100 and NPS2000 in black. Wish they were silver. My S2000 system - Note silver NS-2000 (only one in the usa)
Just acquired my first vintage amp. This is a CA-610, it is in good condition, does not look like it has ever been worked on, Cosmetically it is as close to perfect as one could expect for something built in 1977. So far all I have done is clean the faceplate and knobs. Deoxed the control pots and fixed one of the lights that had burned out. I have not connected speakers yet, but headphones sound pretty good and clear. I should have my new speakers in a week or so.

Thanks, I had to buy a silver NP-S2000 from Japan and move its cabinet, side panels and switches to a black USA NP-S2000 ....then I sold the (now) black Japan unit on ebay. The silver NP-S2000 was never sold in USA....
Sweet. I have a pair of Karat 200's that I love. Those 300's must be nice.Really like the way this looks right now. Of course it sounds great too. I love this 90s gear, it's just so perfectly understated and functional. I would not mind replacing the RX-V850 with an AX model from the same time period. But it's a real nice receiver and I'm very content to have this be my long-term main system if the perfect AX- integrated never comes along.
RX-V850, CDX-550, EQ-550. Monolith turntable, Canton Karat 300 speakers

Did I also say green beer? ...blushing...Is there a Yamaha hiding in there somewhere?
In honor of St Patrick's Day (I'm 78% combined Scottish, English, Irish) and a 4th generation Irish (Catholic) immigrant, here's a tiny splash of green.
FWIW, the Irish Protestants wear orange in case one didn't know.
