Calling any Yamaha experts ....

I have aquired another CA-610 II. I like these little amps. Anyway, one has green circuit boards and the other has brown. Can any Yamaha experts explain why Yamaha had green boards and brown boards for the same model..perhaps modifications, upgrades, cost, different factories, production dates.....
Both CA-610 IIs manufactured in Japan.

ST Patty was aproaching and the manufacturer decided to get into the spirit of the celebration by dying them green.....

Now seriously.......

Merrylander and pacificStereo have probably the most acurate answers........Nothing to worry about, it is still all vintage Yamaha.

I don't remember seeing too may 610s in the lab, so I can't comment on green V. brown. But like any manufacturer, we did make running changes and may have used a different board supplier for a particular run.
