    Hi to all,
I have an Onkyo amp (M-282@100W/ch) and i would like to buy a cheaper pre amp,i see a few Adcom,Carver,NAD...but i'm a little picky on cosmetics (a lot of them seem to have had bricks or rocks stacked on them :tears:).**Edited by Moderators- No offers to buy outside Members Classifieds Forum** recomendations as in which one to go with.I would preffer a tune built in but it's not important.
    Thank you:thmbsp:

Onkyo will match by design. Or try Yamaha. Can't go wrong with them.

I was looking for an inexpensive preamp and ended up buying a NAD integrated amp with pre-out main-in jacks. (one of my must have features was remote control, which the NAD has)
I now have a decent preamp for $299 (brand new) and have a 50wpc amp to boot.

I would stick with a Onkyo preamp and tuner, if you want a tuner. I'm sure you could buy both used reasonable.

+1 on the No Carver. Not worth it.

Uh, this is a ten-year-old thread. I'm guessing the OP made his decision long ago.
