Case's Home Office system

[Caseworker]

This is my bargain bin system. As simple as it gets, yet (to my ears) it sounds very nice.

Speakers - Yorkville YSM-1 monitors
Receiver - Integra DTR 4.6
Source - Home built CPU

That's pretty much it. I run windows 7 with MediaMonkey V4. I rip everything to .FLAC and Mediamonkey is set up with WASAPI output, so It bypasses all the windows pre processing and sends the signal out bit-perfect via optical cable to my receiver.

My receiver is sitting on a paradigm sub, but it's not even plugged in. I've attempted a couple of times to get it to jive with my speakers and haven't had much success. I need to play with it a little more, but for now it just sits.

Yeah, it's the first floor of a small "ranch" style craftsman home built in 1920. There is no shortage of windows in this home, somewhere around 30.
Lots of character = lots of work!
