I know the balance of nature and all, but I am getting a little sick of these hawks eating all the Purple Martins. Had a couple of dozen Martins out there a couple of weeks ago; now they are just about all gone.
Took the RT down to Catalina State Park near Tucson today. The Santa Catalina Mountains are in the backdrop, the peak at Mount Lemon is 9200'. The weather was Partly cloudy at 74 degrees.
We went for a cruise to the Miami-Globe area about 70 miles East of home, old mining towns from the late 1800's that are still active. They have a few funky antique stores (not touristy) and a lot of cool dilapidated places which I enjoy immensely. Love the old cars (not the Silver RT) lol!
This old Nash Metropolitan is just so cool along with these decrepit buildings.
