Chantilly VA near Dulles Airport. (I think she has a great eye with her composure of the clouds and trees in the water !)

I don't know what this gear did before it ended up in the Potomac River, a mile south of Washington, DC. There was a lot of other large metal parts in the vicinity.

Spent 5 days in soggy Juneau over the 4th visiting family.. Something like 4 inches in as many days..ugh, but if you like misty days and waterfalls it might be your cup of tea!
This walkway is known as a flume and it diverts a portion of water from a fast flowing river down to a water treatment building a few miles away where it feeds part of the towns water supply.
