Anyone up for a clubbing?
I’d like to get together. I’m in Central Scottsdale.
I'm in Superior, AZ. Where / when do you meet, and how often?
I have not checked this site for a while. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org
if anyone cares to get together and talk music.
Just reviving this to see if there is any interest in a Phoenix area meet up?
Someone name a place and time and I will be there. How about at In The Groove Records
on Thomas and 32nd St?
Hi Jeff, I can meet up this Sunday at In The Groove around noon time.
I am in the East Valley, Mesa to be specific but I would love to meet up with some fellow music enthusiasts soon. I will be gone on vacation for the next week but will keep this thread in mind.
Sunday at 1:25 is the Cardinal/49ers game kickoff. This is perhaps the only team they will
beat this year. I have plans for the am prior to that. From Monday on I am pretty open.
Does a Tues/Wed/Thurs. 7pm start time work for anyone?
Okay, so Sunday at 1:00pm at your place! Just kidding. I can likely meet up next Thursday evening.
I think the groove closes at 7pm so maybe a little earlier? 5:30 or 6? Or perhaps we can meet some place else?
I just moved here a month ago so I'm not all that well versed in the area. I work in Scottsdale and live in Fountain Hills.
Here is an idea. Go to Woolson's Audio tomorrow. Open 10-4pm Saturdays only. Larry and his son AJ operate the store.
They have more vintage gear there than you can imagine. Comfortable atmosphere with couches and conversation.
Address is like 3941 E. Miami St, Phoenix, AZ. Close to Record High on University.
Thanks for the information Jeff. I was committed to another event last Saturday but will put this on my list of places to check out.
Or come to the AZ AV Club Annual Swap Meet 11/28 7pm-9pm at Trinity Lutheran Church 7Th Ave/Hatcher
Hey guys, what's the best record store in Phoenix for quality original jazz vinyl? I will only have a few hours, so I'd prefer a neat, professional and organized establishment, not the kind of store where one needs to kneel looking through boxes of stuff to find anything worthwhile. Thanks!
Best Place well run is Record High on University. Close to Airport.
2nd Best In the Groove on Thomas. Both Phoenix. Good luck!
