Cherry Kenwood TK-140!

I got this Kenwood TK-140 From a coworker. It had set in his garage for many years and he said it was in the house when he bought it. I havent found much about it yet. Correct me if Im wrong. Its vintage is about 1967, 55w RMS (seems optimistic to me) and it was TOTL. As you can see there is very little corrosion. I gave it a good Deoxing and brushed it out with an acid brush. FM tunes real well. Played CDs through AUX. It sounded good through the little garage speakers. The lights work, all 2 of em. Screw connectors in the back. It is cool! What can you tell me about it?

Probably a cap-coupled output, you're going to want to recap that thing thoroughly to avoid blowing things up.

kind of an old thread but you can find your answers either by removing the cover of your receiver and looking or from the schematic at hifi engine.

If you don't know where to look, post some pics.

I think my parents had one like this when I was growing up. too bad he threw it away when it stopped working (or volume pot got noisy).
