How do I get the “cast” icon added to my Windows 10 Groove Music audio player so that I can play my local music files via my home wi-fi and Chromecast Audio?

Background:
  • Windows 10 PC with the Groove Music audio player that came standard (i.e., part of Windows 10)
  • No smartphone or tablet
  • I’m not interested in any fee based services (e.g., internet radio)
  • I want to make this work with Groove Music vs. buying another audio player (e.g., JRMC)
I can get Chromecast Audio to work with Chrome browser based apps. (Once set-up it’s simple: there is a “cast” button in the upper right corner of the browser.)

How do I get the “cast” button added to the Groove Music player so that I can play my local music files and cast them to my Chromecast Audio?

Thanks for any help.

You can also upload your music to Google Play Music. Casting is built in. It's free for up to 50,000 songs. It converted my FLAC files to high bit rate MP3 automatically, and is often quite useful. I can access my entire digital music collection from anywhere through my phone or a browser.

This probably isn't the answer you are looking for but just an added bonus.
