NO affiliation, sale has started. I don't recall ever seeing HK rack-mount separates before, except Citation units.

The metal color doesn't match, so they might be third-party rack mounting ears.

There's also a set of ESS AMT-1s (not sure what version, c or earlier) included in the system, shown in a later photo.

Wow, good catches! Thanks swechsler! Those rack-mounts look Pioneer-ish to me, very sturdy.

H/K never made a Citation tape deck, so it wouldn't surprise me to see if they had a rack mounting kit for that (although the only time I saw a cassette deck in a Citation brochure, it was the HK-2000 (top loader) combined with the Citation 17/18/19). But that's probably not the case here, since the rack mounts all seem to have the same style.

Just texted about price of the HK rack. $650. Thats without the TT or speakers.. He will tote that stuff around for a while at that price.
