"Cloud" absorber use with top firing Ohm Model I speakers

I am making a plan for diffusers/absorbers in my listening space. I understand the issues with first reflection points, tri-corners, etc, but I am unsure how to proceed with the ceiling. The speakers I use have top firing drivers, and I wonder if putting a typical "cloud" absorber up there would do more harm than good....

Just looking for some thoughts here, as I hate to put the work into making it happen, then have to tear it all down again.

I ended up using diffusers on my ceiling. One at the first reflection point and one over the listener.

My Is work fine in both large and small rooms, even with glass behind them. 7.5' ceilings.
