no the parts from the cabs that i offered you went in to my second set.

buy the way i have had some time with them.

tubular bells original '75 recording on CD. side 1

dire straits brothers in arms money for nothing.

john stewart bombs away dream babies the whole thing.

good morning vietnam cut 19, louis armstrong, what a wonderful world.

harry chapin greatest stories live, the whole thing.

plus the eagles, steve earl, journey, sting, the pretenders, steve winwood, earl klugh, dave brubeck, garth brooks, cars, rush, allman brothers,, molly hatchett, bob seager, rod stewart, boston, eric clapton and jimmy buffet, etc etc etc.

i think the real test came from tubular bells.
there was a low rumble that came from the cd player that was annoying in the quiet passages, if you listened for it. oddly enough new cables from cd player to amp fixed it.

the speakers all preformed beautifully after A/Bing them and switching left and right both from the amp and phiscaly swithing them. there was virtually no difference in them. though diesels front woof vibrated during the last movement of tublar bells. i forgot to glue the holes before screwing them in, anyway easy fix.

as for positioning the speaks.

stacking tweet at the top and the second pair stacked upside down on top.
that is to say the tweets in the center of the stack.
took away the airyness of the highs.

stacking them on top of one another made the mids really pop.

more later.
