This one is from the same show as the spruce tree one above. 99.9% sure I have it as well.
Ted, and Rick
What a badass concert poster. Looks just like the ads in the back of the magazines I read as a kid.
Here's a couple that I like:
The Pixies put out a limited edition poster for every performance, here's one.
Yeah, I gotta get that one framed and put up.
I don't usually buy more than one poster at a show, but I had to have that one and the tree one.
Wilco's merch table can make a man go broke!
Here's another one hanging in the basement. Pic from the net.
With apologies to Mystic.
I should get more familiar with Wilco's music.
Went to this over two days in 1973....great music & great time!
Tom Waits kicking off the 75th year celebration for The Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver in 2003. Wish I was there.
The Velvet Underground and the Mothers! I'll bet there were some people who walked out, but then there were those others who stayed and were never quite the same.
That's not a bill I would have guessed ever happened.
This is interesting... Wasn't Christine McVee (<--sp?) from Fleetwood Mac a member of Chicken Shack? Maybe she left them to join Mac? I'm not sure of the timeline here.
Celebrated HS graduation with my buddies at this concert. I got the worst sunburn of my life but did not realize it until much later that night, when a friend's mother told us that we looked radioactive.
Then, when we recovered we did it again. Same place, same sunburn.
Went here to see Clapton, but Mayall and Taste w/Rory Gallagher sure helped out.
Here's another with all three days bands listed...
Not bad for $6, eh???
Christene was a member of Chicken Shack. She married John McVie in '68.
Left Chicken Shack in '69.
Joined Fleetwood Mac in '70.
At the Bath Festival I saw it was the original FM line up.
