Considering a MX-135

I had a 132 2 years ago. The background noise and hum was so bad I had to return it. Me and the dealer tried everything to eliminate it, to no avail.
Now with the 135's balanced outs, I'm thinking the problem will be resolved.
This would replace my Proceed AVP2.

Any thoughts, or word from 135 owners would be appreciated. :thmbsp:

The MX135 is very quiet, clear and dynamic. The MX135 does have a better signal to noise ratio than the MX132 but the MX132 is better than most pre amps. Audio + video systems are susceptible to hum but there is always a solution.

I went from the 132 to my AVP2 and the Proceed crushed it. No noise at all.
We tried ungrounded plugs, different wires, changed the wiring, and nothing eliminated the noise.
I was quite disappointed as I thought the Mac would be "the one".
Anyway, I've ordered the 135. The options alone (built in MM amplification) make it a win for me.
