Cowboy Boots - Illegal

In Blythe, Ca., it is illegal to wear cowboy boots unless you own at least two cows.

One of the thousands of old laws on the books that have never officially been removed. God only knows how it got there to begin with.

Another one - the mayor of Los Angeles can order everyone in the city limits to flush their toilet at the same time. The reason - to drown out the rat population in the sewers when it got too bad back in the old days.
