    It is nice when the unit works and adjusts properly. Enjoy listening to the new unit, too.

    With all the work these units take, look at that list, what would you want to skip if it were your unit? That is the reason a recap costs so much money and the techs generally don't clean everything. This amount of work costs more than the unit would sell for but we do it to enjoy the unit for years to come. Parts prices may not be that much but the time to do thing right is what makes this kind of work something a tech might not want to do because the customer doesn't want to pay for it. Even though this unit is good to go for decades as it was when new.
