Curious about the Sansui 600L

I do SWL on anyone of a number of receivers I have to do it with. I was thinking of Sansui and I remember almost purchasing a Sansui 600L while I was in the USN. I only saw these receivers in Navy BX's not sure if it was actually an official import to the US. The 600L had AM/FM, LW, MW, and SW reception. Does anyone out there have one. I am curious how they preform as a SW receiver? They where sold in Navy BX's because of AFRTS which at the time had a strong Short Wave broadcasting service.

I have that receiver.but I don't use it for SW,only for FM/AM.

I thought there was a Sansui forum but failed to see it on iPhone. I have found out this radio was never formally sold in the US the ones that are to be found mostly came with returning military personal Japan and such. There is a lot of them on the used European market.
