i bought a demo and it buzzed loudly in both the tweeters and woofers, along with a distinct pop when turning on and off, particularly in one speaker more than the other. The buzz was audible from about a foot away. The audio shop told me it should be 100% silent and to bring it back.
I returned the demo and got a brand new one, connected everything and hear a quieter pop when turning on/off, and still a very slight buzz in the tweeters, again more so one the one side than other (same side as before).
I'm 99% certain everything is connected correctly: turntable, CD player, headphone amp, speakers. It's all pretty straightforward.
Should I worry about this slight buzz which may have existed before but I never had a reason to put my ear right on the speaker to hear it?
It's such a new amp and there's nothing online yet about it being that it just came out in Canada a few weeks ago.
