Does it make much of a difference what the transport is if the quality of the DAC is superior?
...Or do both have to be of the same quality?
I need to buy a new CDP and really don't need a multi takser so I was looking seriously and discovered the Chinnese stuf which has gotten rather good ratings and are being carried my more US dealers.
Also, I can buy just any transport and a good to excellent DAC.
Don't have the $$ for both.
