Well, you would have to bring up market realities, now wouldn't you? Always one of my biggest gripes. IBM squashes Apple. VHS unravels Beta. MicroSquash decompiles...well, just about everybody -- except a few open-source upstarts. Sometimes whole kingdoms have to topple and an industry has to re-invent itself before superior technology can take over. But I think it will happen, just maybe not in our lifetimes if history repeats itself.
