I have a Pioneer SC-LX58 receiver. When I start it the receiver seems to remember my previous input selection which is generally my Virgin box (Sat/CBL). However after about 10-15 seconds I hear my DVD player start up, and despite there being no disc in the tray the receiver swaps it's input to DVD. I then have to swap it back to Sat/CBL every time, which is a bit annoying
My previous TV did something similar in that it insisted 'TV' should be the input every time I turned the receiver on. A lot of the time I would swap it back to Sat/CBL only to have it go back to TV again.
Does anyone know what controls this? Is there a way to either set the default you want, or just have it remember the previous input selection each time you turn the receiver on?
