I just recently joined this group in an effort to gain some thoughts and opinions on the subject of which receiver to go with or run 2 in tandem. I am currently running the Onkyo TX NR 747, and I will be replacing old speakers with Klipsch kg 3.5 , klipsch kv3 center, klipsch sw8ii sub, Polk dipole rears. I also picked up a Denon AVR 4082 receiver in the process. My primary usage is listening to records, very little movies, but regular TV viewing and football games. Which unit would you recommend or can you effectively run one for audio and one for video?
