Denon DCD-1100

I am looking for a CD player to replace my Sony D-9 personal player in my stereo rig and was wondering if this unit is any good.

I have ot buy the whole package for $75 It includes the following
Akai Receiver ( 80s silver one )
Infinity RS3 ( I think )
and the above mentioned CDP

I know the speakers have a poly cell in them but not sure how large the driver is. ( is this a decent speaker ?? Would it be an ok canidate for a bathroom set up??)

It's prolly worth $75 for the Infinity's alone, those are good little bookshelf speakers and might be perfect for a bathroom setup. Dunno about the Akai reciver, their products seem to be kinda hit or miss, with a lot of misses. But, I'd say in general the system is worth it, and would work well in a bathroom setup. The Denon is a middle-range (maybe lower-middle range for that company) but they tend to make pretty good decks, so I'd say go for it.

Edit: BTW, the RS-3's have 6.5 inch woofers in 'em.
