Did Allison Acoustics use plastic badges?

I admit this is a case of a small thing, but my own -- but I recently got a pair of Allison Four speakers and they have black plastic "Allison" badges. Every other Allison I see has the traditional brass badges? What gives?

I had a pair of Fours until last year and I think they had the same badges as yours. The badges on my pair of Two's are crappy plastic ones glued to the grills.

I have a pair of cd-6 with plastic badges and model 6 with metal badges, funny as the cd-6 has timber veneer and model 6 has a vinyl veneer.
