The battery, and spare, that I've had for the past few years in my Canon PowerShot S-100 finally are crapping out. Won't hold a charge for more than a couple shots.

Found a great web site!! www.digital-camera-battery.net

Upgraded mah rating battery that was $59.99 at my local camera store is $14.84 here!! Holy cow! And low cost shipping, to boot.

Take a peek,
Clay

Yeah the Canon battery for my Powershot G2 was $120 CAN dollars. I bought a higher maH battery ( not Canon) for less than $20 CAN delivered to my door from an Ebay seller. I really can't believe anyone is stupid enough to pay Canon's outrageous prices for a battery.

Great Link ! They have my new ZR80 battery for super cheap :) Thanks.

Luckily my Kodak CX-6330 only requires rechargeable AA's, I just bought a pack of these; http://www.portablepower.com/items/search/Rechargeable/1/all/CLRNCE
The shipping is quick (2 days from Colorado to Michigan @ $3.85, Priority Mail), I also bought a 4,000mah camcorder battery for my Panasonic VHS-C, it's nice because it's metal hybrid where the original was ni-cad, I was able to retain the original charger though; http://www.portablepower.com/items/batteries/Camcorder/1/Empire/BNH-150-4/BNH-150-4/CC150/38C150M7
Another good and quick source is http://www.microbattery.com
A good starter set; http://mcm.newark.com/NewarkWebCommerce/mcm/en_US/endecaSearch/partDetail.jsp?SKU=29-4130&N=4

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?MfcISAPICommand=ViewItem&item=7511139638 For those that need 6V 2000 mah, here's a cheap AC adapter. The guy has a bunch of them so play the game right and grab it for the starting bid. WARNING: The listed plug size is 1.75x4.75mm, BUT, the two that I got were oversize on the OD, more like 5.46mm (.217"). I contacted the seller and asked if he shipped the wrong ones. I then asked if he would measure his existing stock and see if they conformed to his item description. He dummied up and said he didn't have a way to measure them. BUT he would gladly give me a refund. I kept them and went to the shack and got the right size plug for 5 bucks. All in all, I got 13 bucks into it. I don't know the seller.
