I read Fine Homebuilding by the Taunton Press, but don't know how active an online forum there might be. The Journal of Light Construction is another very good trade mag, but again I don't go there online.

If it has anything to do with plumbing, heating, air conditioning, or refrigeration I have over 30 years experience and was license in all I listed here, plus I had my own business in Illinois for 9 plus years before I moved back here to my home town to help take care of my mother. Only work on my own stuff now but willing to answer questions people have about these trades.
