The bad part is, I still don't always remember to put the damn safety glasses on.

Same here.They're usually sitting on top of my head.A useless piece of real estate supporting a now equally useless piece of safety equipment.Sigh....

I have the safety glasses hanging on the belt tension lever on the lathe. Thats probably the only reason I remember to put them on first.
