Do these JBL woofers have aquaplas?

    They are the LE10 woofer that came in L66 and perhaps others.

    The L66 manual says that the woofer does indeed have aquaplas.

    Looking at the woofer, front and back, there is no white aquaplas coating that I am used to seeing. It's just the same plain grey color that you see on the front. And no, they have not been reconed.

    So, is it possible that these cones have no aquaplas?

    I believe that although it was tinted white in some cases, in others it was gray. There are probably more specific threads, but see post 4 here:

    If they have a rough coating on the back, likely gray, that's the Aquaplas. If those are yours, you'll need to replace those Lansaloy surrounds with something more pliable to have any chance of producing the frequency range they were designed for. They're probably rock-hard by now.
