Back in 1972 I was stationed in Thailand at Utapao RTNAB. Down the hall from the ECM shop was a snack bar where you could buy a toasted bologna sandwich for a quarter. It was a small taste of home.
Anyone ever have Italian Mortadella? It's like bologna, only with enough spices to actually taste it, and it has cubes of pure pork fat incorporated throughout, so each slice has some dots of fat. Also has pistachio nuts. I had it on a genuine New Orleans Muffaletta sandwich, heavenly.
