The first album I ever bought was Iron Butterfly - In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida. My very first albums were given to me by my aunt...Janis Joplin-Pearl, Jimi Hendrix-Are You Experienced, and Steppenwolf-Live. I still have them all!!

my first was either janis joplin "pearl" or "steppenwolf", or possibly both at the same time. iron butterfly soon followed.
the guitar riffs on "the pusher" still sound incredible today and were sampled by several artists.
