Oh man the new foam isn't even broken in yet. What they need are stands!

JVC gear tends to go under the radar, I dont know why? Its well made and sounds and looks great!

Good question. As someone born in the mid 70s, the JVC name never stood out to me. Hitachi also made some very nice gear.

To resurrect an old thread here...

I was decently skeptical of JVC gear given hearing little to nothing about them in audiophile circles. Yesterday I saw a JA-S55 on the classifieds. Picked er up today, and it sounds beautiful pushing my Triangle Elara bookshelves. Not what one would describe as super dynamic, but is very pleasing in the upstairs system while I cook or putter about.
