Driver identifications, gurus please step in...

OK guys just wanted get ur input on these drivers, as in if they look like anything used in pioneer here in the states. These are very nice pioneers only sold in Japan in the mid 70's from what I can tell. Reference this thread... http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/showthread.php?t=433956

They are built like a tank. They sound very nice also. Should I recap? Also these have cloth surrounds, but they seem thin compared to the drivers in my klh model 20's. Anywho would love input!

is the best place to look.

The woofer is evocative of the HPM woofers in terms of its robust construction; these were the forerunners of the TAD series of high-zoot audiophile/pro drivers (TAD drivers are still in production today and still very good, and very expensive).

Absolutely worth a recap - looks like they took care when designing the crossovers as well as the inductors are perpendicular to each other. :yes:
