Dual CS 506-1, what's it worth?

There is a Dual turntable available locally to me, model CS 506-1, price is $250 Canadian dollars.

This seems terribly overpriced, is there something special about this model that I am unaware of?

It's in great shape, from a trusted shop that I don't mind paying a few extra dollars at, but this seems like a whole lot of extra dollars.

Its a decent TT, but you're right, its WAAAAAY over priced at $250C.

Jeez I just sold one for a 5 dollar profit that I bought at a pawn shop for 15.00 bucks to a guy at work here.
Maybe I should-a held out for more?

I only paid $50 U.S. for mine and that was 5 or 6 years ago. It's been a nice player. The only problem with this unit is the ULM (Ultra Low Mass) tone arm. If you upgrade the cartridge, which I did, it requires a kit that includes a new headshell and a weight to compensate for the extra headshell/cartridge mass. All 506's sold new included this kit but if you're buying a used unit you need to know if this kit is included. At any rate, $250 C is to much too pay for a 506.
