I was organizing some of my video files. I was looking at the John Romer Documentaries.
John Romer is an Egyptologist and a presenter on UK TV. He produced and presented a series of fascinating documentaries about the ancient world. All of these excellent documentaries are available on Youtube.

Romer's Egypt (1982) 3 episodes
Ancient Lives (1984) 4 episodes
Testament (1988) 7 episodes
The Rape of Tutankhamun (1988) 1 episode
The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World (1994) 4 episodes
Byzantium: The Lost Empire (1997) 4 episodes
Great Excavations: John Romer's History of Archaeology (2000) 6 episodes

My favorite documentaries are Ancient Lives and Testament.

In Ancient Lives John Romer brings to life the craftsmen, and artisans who 3000 years ago lived in a village near Thebes and were the workers who excavated and decorated the tombs in The Valley of The Kings.

Testament is a spellbinding presentation. John Romer illuminates the Bible not as a religious document but it's place in the ancient history of the Fertile Crescent, Egypt, and later through Rome and to modern times; Wonderful.
