I'm about to buy a new set of output tubes for my 800 B and I got ten years out of the set EH's that are in it but I'm giving some thought to a change. What do you guys think?

The T-S will most likely require more bias voltage to maintain the same level of bias as the EH's. If you have an IBAM (Individual Bias Adjustment mod board) or Dave's IBBA board, you should be ok. But if the price of them turns you off, stick with the EH's. Mine have lasted 10 years now playing in a Sansui 1000A and they still test out at better than 90% of new after more than 3000 hours. The trick is to run them at 70% to 80% of maximum dissipation.
