Eliminating crappy spades to the drivers

So my Polks are getting bigger and my zeal for attaching stripped wire to the driver tab with Dynamat is gone (plus it's a bitch to remove). Will God strike me down If I remove the spade only on the positive or negative side?

Why?

Use a soldering iron. Your method is worse than spades.
